In the event of extreme environmental conditions, the air conditioners can be equipped with metal air filters. With respect to polyurethane foam filters, they allow for lower filtration efficiency but have the advantage of being regenerative. They can be cleaned with a degreasing detergent and reused indefinitely. They are made of aluminum mesh.
